Revise Pay Scale from 01-07-2022
The Federal Government has approved a 15% increase in salaries by merging all the ad hoc relief allowances for Employees in the budget 2022 and announced a 5% increase for pensioners.
POINT TO POINT BASIC SCALE EFFECTIVE FROM 01-07-2022 (BS-1 to 16-40% Merge, BS-17 to 20-35% Marge BS-21 to 22- 30% Marge) (2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019).

ReplyDeleteThe best way to fix your basic pay depends entirely on your promotion date to ensure you do not lose your annual increment:
ReplyDelete* If promoted between Dec 2 and Jun 1: Fix your pay immediately. Take your lower scale pay, add one premature increment of the higher scale, and fix it at the next higher stage in the new scale.
* If promoted between Jun 2 and Nov 30: Do not fix your pay immediately. Submit an "Option Certificate" to your accounts office to defer fixation until December 1st. This allows you to get your annual increment in the lower scale first on Dec 1st, and then your pay is re-fixed into the higher scale on Dec 2nd. This protects you from lifelong financial loss.
